We leave Seville by car on Saturday at 8:30 AM from the main gate of the bullring of "La Maestranza". If you prefer, we can meet directly next to the climbing area of San Bartolo, in the village "Betis", belonging to Tarifa (Cádiz). If you want to download driving directions, click here. The return to Seville is about 21:00 on the same day.
We will get to the climbing crag of "San Bartolo", close to the beach of Bolonia, about 11:00 AM. We will begin the day following a nice path with a beautiful panoramic view of the area.
We will start with a theoretical introduction of rock climbing. Every participant will climb some not difficult routes for beginners (grade IV - V) between 8 and 12 meters high. Then we will hike to explore other sectors of climbing, watching and explaining different routes of medium and high difficulty. We will visit the famous mosaic wall, ending on the summit of the Sierra de San Bartolome, where we will be impressed by the views of Africa, Tarifa and the dunes of the beach of Bolonia.
We will celebrate the day with a deserved beer at the only bar in the village "Betis", starting the way back on 19:00, arriving at Sevilla around 21:00.
